Vintage 25” Opened Hand Painted
Watercolor Chinese Asian Paper 14” Fan
Butterfly Orchid Flowers
The butterflies and flowers are beautifully hand painted in watercolor on this paper and wood fan. This was my Grandmothers so I know it’s old. I dusted it with a toothbrush where I could. It’s in good condition with no rips. There are some small stains that can be seen on the backside (see pics). It’s signed with some Chinese writing and a red stamp. The spokes are cherry stained bamboo. If you’re into asian aesthetics…this will help set that tone in any room. There are yellow strings on the back that you can tie together so you can hook this on the wall.
Measures approx. 14” tall and 25” at full wing span.
