    Description

    This unique antique wood hat stand is perfect for a vintage large hat display or as part of a shop display. It is made of light colored wood and very well crafted. The stand has a turned base and a rounded large top that is painted in the usual French grey paint. I think this hat stand was for a military hat or a ladies hat with a large crown. This piece is also very decorative on its own. Condition is good with only downside: it looks like the paint is more recent. The bottom of the piece clearly shows its age.
    Measurements are: base is 8 5/8" diameter and overall height is 9 1/2".
