  • Condition: Vintage plaque souvenir from Hawaii. It is over 40 years old. A picture - reproduction of "The Lei Maker" see back of plaque for more information is attached to a piece of faux lava rock.It has to be faux or simulated because it is "taboo" or very bad luck to remove lava rock from the islands.The image is adhered to the rock, not decoupaged since there is no film over the image. The colors remain as they were when made.The crevices of the rock are a little dusty. Mostly at the top. The wood stand that comes with it has several scratches and nicks. It may be mahogany, not koa.Colors may vary with monitors.
