ที่สร้างขึ้นในโอกาสครบ 100 ปีแห่งวันมรณภาพของเจ้าประคุณสมเด็จฯ (ตรงกับวันที่ 22 มิถุนายน 2515) โดย

ผู้ริเริ่มโครงการ ได้ขอรับความเห็นชอบจาก

รักษาการเจ้าอาวาสวัดระฆัง จึงได้เกิดโครงการขึ้น โดยใช้ชื่อว่า “โครงการสร้างปูชนียวัตถุ เพื่อเป็นอนุสรณ์ครบ 100 ปี แห่งมรณภาพของเจ้าประคุณ สมเด็จพระพุฒาจารย์ (โต พรหมรังสี) ณ วัดระฆังโฆสิตาราม จังหวัดธนบุรี” วัตถุมงคลที่จัดสร้าง คือ 1.พระพุทธรูป (จำลองพระประธานในพระอุโบสถวัดระฆัง) 2.พระกริ่ง (จำลองพระประธานฯ) 3.รูปเหมือนบูชาสมเด็จฯโต 4.รูปเหมือนลอยองค์สมเด็จฯโต 5.เหรียญสมเด็จฯโต และ 6.พระเครื่องเนื้อผง พิมพ์สมเด็จ และพิมพ์รูปเหมือน วัตถุมงคลทั้งหมดนี้ ได้จัดประกอบพิธีพุทธาภิเษกอย่างยิ่งใหญ่และถูกต้องครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์แบบ ถึง 3 วาระด้วยกัน คือ วาระที่ 1 วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 16 กันยายน 2514, วาระที่ 2 วันเสาร์ที่ 18 กันยายน 2514 และ วาระที่ 3 วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 22 มิถุนายน 2515นับได้ว่าเป็นพิธีที่ยิ่งใหญ่พิธีหนึ่งในสมัยนั้น ปัจจุบัน
พระสมเด็จ อนุสรณ์ 100 ปี วัดระฆัง
ได้รับความศรัทธาเลื่อมใสจากนักสะสมพระเครื่อง คนรุ่นใหม่ อย่างกว้างขวาง จนถึงกับมีการบรรจุรายการไว้ในงานประกวดพระเครื่องมาตรฐานหลายครั้ง ที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนโดย
สมาคมผู้นิยมพระเครื่องพระบูชาไทย
ขณะเดียวกันก็ได้มีการจัดทำหนังสือเกี่ยวกับ พระสมเด็จ รุ่นนี้จากหลายสำนักพิมพ์ ที่ได้รับความนิยมเชื่อถือมาก คือ หนังสือ
