    Description

For sale is a RARE NASA Engineer-created, detailed Paper Scale Model of the classic German V-2 Rocket, which was the first artificial object to travel into space in 1944. Here is the back story: I got this and many other models from the estate of a local (Huntsville, AL) NASA engineer who, as a hobby, designed and hand-crafted extremely detailed scale paper models of many different missiles, rockets and other space craft. He compared notes with fellow engineers to assure scale and fine details. I haven't seen anything quite like these. I will be listing others, so feel free to contact me about specific rockets you may be interested in.
This is a fascinating model of the V-2 Missile. The scale model sits on a paper base and stands about 16.5" high, 19.5" mounted on its base. You will have a hard time finding a model like this one, which stands 1 and a 1/2 feet high. The rocket will ship in a sturdy box with cushioned packaging. The shipping weight is 2 pounds.
Please ask questions before bidding so that I can insure you know exactly what you are bidding on.
Because I offer multiple pictures and detailed descriptions and prompt reply to questions, I do not offer a standing refund option.
However, if I made a mistake (I am human), or you have a concern, please contact me, and I will do everything reasonably possible to make it right, and my feedback reflects that.
I want both us to come out winners here.
You can expect the items I sell to be smoke-free, unless I specifically state otherwise.
At your request, I will be happy to create a combined shipping invoice on multiple purchases, subject to size/weight restrictions or any other eBay policy limitations.
However, eBay’s Global Shipping program may not permit combined shipping for international buyers. Also, I am not ever able to provide international returns.
As of 2019, many states have begun to require that eBay sellers charge sales tax on purchases made from residents of their state. If your state requires sales tax payment, that tax payment will show up on your invoice for final payment. I am sorry about this added cost, but it is a requirement of your state, and not a cent goes to me. Payment for purchases are expected within 3 days of auction end.
    Have fun.
