    Description

    For sale is a lot of 3 NASA Engineer-created High-Detailed Paper Scale Models of various Thor Missiles. Here is the back story: I got these and many other models from the estate of a local (Huntsville, AL) NASA engineer who, as a hobby, designed and hand-crafted extremely detailed scale paper models of many different missiles, rockets and other space craft. He compared notes with fellow engineers to assure scale and fine details. I haven't seen anything quite like these. I will be listing others, so feel free to contact me about specific rockets you may be interested in.
    This is a lot of three missiles / rockets, which will ship in a sturdy box with cushioned packaging. The shipping weight is 2 pounds. You are getting the following 3 models:
    U.S. Thor IRBM, 1/96 Scale with wood/paper base, intermediate range ballistic missile (1958-1972), 8" Tall plus base height
    Thor Delta #11 (DM-19), which launched Telstar 1, with wood/paper base, 11" tall plus base height
    Thor Able v. II (launched April 1, 1960 and it launched the Tiros 1 weather satellite, 11" tall plus base height

    Because I offer multiple pictures and detailed descriptions and prompt reply to questions, I do not offer a standing refund option.

    At your request, I will be happy to create a combined shipping invoice on multiple purchases, subject to size/weight restrictions or any other eBay policy limitations.
    However, eBay’s Global Shipping program may not permit combined shipping for international buyers. Also, I am not ever able to provide international returns.
    As of 2019, many states have begun to require that eBay sellers charge sales tax on purchases made from residents of their state. If your state requires sales tax payment, that tax payment will show up on your invoice for final payment. I am sorry about this added cost, but it is a requirement of your state, and not a cent goes to me. Payment for purchases are expected within 3 days of auction end.
