The bottom front of buckle features the John Deere 1937 FOUR LEGS Leaping Deer over Log Trademark/Logo.
Also featured on the front is a John Deere Tractor with a lady driving & waving to two army / military trucks.
Walter Haskell Hinton was a painter and illustrator who first worked for John Deere in 1926 and started freelancing for Deere creating many farm & family scenes. His works included updates to John Deere's Trademark/Logo and his illustrations appeared on puzzles, belt buckles, trays, calendars, paintings, Christmas ornaments & more.
The three dimensional detail & workmanship in these buckles make them a very desirable for collectors.
