Seashell lot #9789.
This lot includes following 21 cowries (ALL shells come with their own data report, shells from the same location/supplier may share the same (only one) data report):
(1) Cypraea eglantina (dark form), 49mm, F+++/G, no big issues. From New Caledonia.
(2) Cypraea erosa. 45mm, F+++. From Philippines.
(3) Cypraea erosa. 28.7mm, F+++, special color. From Java.
(4) Cypraea erosa. 32mm+, F+++. From Thailand.
(5-14) Cypraea (Bistolida) kieneri kieneri. 14-18mm, F++-F+++, one has stains on the bottom, some have growth lines. No big issues. From Mozambique.
(15-16) Cypraea felina. 15-16mm, F+. Young adults. I was told they are felina cowries, but they maybe sub-adult kieneri cowries. From Mozambique.
(17-21) Cypraea staphylaea staphylaea. 17-23mm. Bought them all as staphylaea cowries, but a few maybe similar species. From South China Sea.
