Cobbler's shoe stand and shoe lasts

Description

This is an old cobbler/shoemaker's stand with a patent date of December 23, 1890. The 4-piece set is composed of the cast iron stand and 3 cast iron shoe forms. This is still functional for use in hand-making shoes, but can also be re-purposed into home decor, a hat stand, door stop, paper weight, etc. The stand itself is 12" tall and weighs approximately 3 pounds. The shoe lasts are in three different sizes as seen in the photographs. The largest last is labeled 9K and is 9" long. The medium last is labeled 7K and is seven inches long. The smallest last is labeled 6K and is 5 3/4" long. This item is in good condition for it's age. There are a few instances where the metal has chipped so please view all of the listing photos. There is surface oxidation as expected given age. It appears to have been repainted at one point.
