    Description

    Offered for auction is a copper or bronze mold for a boy doll and his inner tube.
    This is one of a large haul of doll molds which I believe all came from one manufacturer in the 1980's or early 90's. The rich green patina mixed with burnt remnants of the manufacturing process give many an industrial post apocalyptic appearance which appealed to collectors of the avant-garde making their way into some of the top folk art collections in America and beyond.
    He stands about 6 inches high and has an original untouched patina. Several use splits as seen in the photographs.
    A sculpture worthy of his own pedestal.
