This set of 4 nuts comes in the very popular 5/16”-24 UNF (Unified Nation Fine) thread.
Most hardware store lock nuts are quite tall. Our low profile locking axle nuts are approximately 1/3 shorter. Please check out the photo. This design holds just as well as the taller cousin but eliminates unneeded weight.
You may think that you can buy a set of similar nuts for your skateboard at a local store. It is doubtful that you will be able to find 5/16” lock nuts that are low profile, stainless steel with fine threads. Save some driving around time and gasoline money by simply ordering a set from us and have them delivered to your door.
