This is a new factory fresh Quick Charge 36 Volt 40 Amp Automatic Battery Charger for small Fork Lift or other 36 Volt battery powered equipment. It uses standard 117 volt AC power. Should be on a dedicated 20 amp 117 volt circuit.  This new QP Series of chargers features digital readout on the front panel of volts and amps. This is an extremely versatile line of new chargers from Quick Charge Corp. The charger can be programmed for different charge profiles for different types of batteries. We typically ship the charger programmed as "Gas and Timed Shutoff". Upon request, we can program the charger as a "Gas and Float" or we can program it for AGM (Sealed) battery use.  You can also program this charger yourself if you ever need a differnt charge profile.  Instructions for this programming are included.  This charge weighs about 55 pounds.
NOTE ABOUT CHARGER OUTPUT:  This is a 36 Volt 40 Amp Charger.  This charger is rated to charge batteries that have an amp hour rating (20 hour rate) up to 500 amp hours.  If your batteries are rated higher than that, it might take longer to charge them fully and perhaps you should consider buying a higher output charger.  I have personally used this charger to charge fork lift batteries much large than the rated 500 amp hours, however it takes perhaps a full 24 hours to bring them to full charge.
NOTE ABOUT CONNECTORS: This charger is shipped with the SB-350 Gray connector.   This will only plug into another SB-350 Gray connector.  If you need a different connector, please contact me before purchase to check on that connector being available.

WARRANTY:  The charger comes with a 36 month limited warranty from the manufacturer, Quick Charge Corp.  Full contact information for the Manufacturer and for us is always included with the charger.
RETURNS:  Ebay now requires sellers to state a return policy.  The only options are to state "Returns Accepted" or Returns Not Accepted".  Well, we had to change to "Returns Not Accepted" because of abuse of the return policy.  Over the years, we have had few returns and in most cases, a simple phone call solved the problem with an explanation of how the product worked.  We still have a liberal return policy, but there are some qualifications on that policy.  For instance, just sending the product back without any prior communication is not acceptable.  Ordering a battery charger to check to see if your old one is really bad or the problem is somewhere else, with plans to return the new charger is not acceptable.  Most questions about whether the charger is the right one for your use can be worked out in advance before the purchase.
