    Description

    Two vintage Ovula Ovum cowrie shells from Singapore.
    I purchased these at an estate sale. There was a tiny slip of paper inside one shell  with the name and origin (see pic). Judging from the age of the paper and the ink used (it looks like a fountain pen), I assume these are fairly old.
    Another shell from this collection had a slip of paper inside it stating that it was from Trinity College's Collection in Washington, D.C.
    These shells have identification numbers on them so I am assuming they are part of the Trinity College Collection.
    I will be listing other shells from this collection in separate auctions.
